Yes Jon I 100% agree. The latest generation sidewinder followed by the next generation 300 have been the only ones I have had issues with.I also think this issue is more common on 300 series Genesis grills.

Thank you Steve!! I'm really happy with the changes I made at the end. I had the whole bottom blacked out and all the handles Chrome and it just looked a bit mismatchedI love the look of the whole thing, it's a beauty top to bottom.
