Black bean burgers

Every so often these really hit the spot. Easy to make and when you nail the texture, hard to beat vegetarian eats.

Baked the beans till they started splitting.

Mixed with a lot of good stuff, including queso fresco, 2 chipotles and their sauce. Few other things in there. Cooked in a CI pan on the gasser.

Healthy alternative to the usual burger. Will never be as good but still tasty.
 
I don't eat pure veggie dishes often but it does look good......

When I use to eat PITAPIT I use to get the veggie black bean pita.....they make it extra spicy and it sure was tasty.....

Don't forget to get your protein in...delicous delicous monousaturated fat is a healthy choice......it really is.
These can also be found in avocadoes.......cashews ect.......

Right on. There's a half cup of toasted cashews in this. Good binder, too.

I'm on the lookout for good vegetarian BBQ dishes. This looks really tasty. Can you hit me with thr recipe?
 
I use 2 poblanos and roast them. Then peel. I use queso fresco, but cotija works well. Actually, so does a blend of queso and crumbled blue cheese. I also use only 1/2C of cashews; the other 1/4C is pepitas.
