Best pulled pork

Yes it's The first time I am checked with Coca-Cola. It was about 3 cups of soda and 4 tablespoons of barbecue rub. I added the rub slowly because it would fizzle up.

How long before start injecting did you prepare the mix? How long before start cooking did you inject?

Great cook Tony, I do the same thing 265 and wrap after about five hours and on for three or four more hours depending on the size of the butt. Although as you know my first attempt on my 18.5 couldn't get the temp up so it took over 11 hours.
How much charcoal do you use for a cook like that?

I fill it all the way to the top. And have about 3/4 charcoal full on chimney left. I know because I used it on my performer for another cook.

I did all this while my smoker was coming up to temp. I want to say it took less than 20 min to inject and rub. Then it hit the smokers 20-30 min later.
