Don't think I've ever seen Beef Bacon, Issom, thanks for sharing that!!! I haven't seen beef belly at CostCo.....I'm assuming that's what it is made from? Anyone know? I'd love to cure my own version of that! Looks delish!

Looks delicious. Several years back, I got some brisket bacon from a local farmer's market. It was to die for.

I've heard of it and I've heard of people making it, but don't recall ever seeing it in stores. If I ever do come across some I'll have to give it a try.

One of my coworker does not eat pork. He loves beef bacon and I know he is always getting it at the store. I think he gets it at Wegmans. If we ever we go back to normal I will ask him more.

It comes from beef navel or beef belly.
I'm having a devil of a time finding a source for beef navel/belly (that doesn't cost two arms, a leg, and most of my torso!) Best offer so far is $11/lb, 10lb minimum...... Anyone got any good ideas for sources (bearing in mind, of course, that Covid-19 is having an effect on our supply lines.)
