That does look great, @ChuckO ......though I really dislike pumpkin pie! You do have me intrigued, though. Did you discern any smoke flavor in the pie? If so, do you think that it was mostly from cooking the pumpkin prior to making the pie, or from cooking the pie on the grill? Or, maybe it was both? I'm guessing if you got smoke flavor it was subtle, but that's probably about right. I'm thinking smoky pecan pie.....
The smoke flavor was indeed subtle if not minimal. It you like Pumpkin Pie you'll like this cook. The real test will be the pumpkin bread cooked in the pellet grill. Too windy for that today, maybe next week
