That sounds fantastic!I picked up some lovely asparagus and a flank steak which I will get under marinade tonight doing my dads old teriyaki recipe tonight!
I might do a “brunoise scalloped potato” thing too, I have some “extra” Mornay sauce from the other day which will be just right!

Doctor designed plate, twice as much veg as meat or carb. Yeah, well sort of!
She didn’t eat as much as I’d have liked but, pain is one serious appetite deterrent.
The flavor did indeed take me way back to my Dad firing flank steak on the old BuddyL!
I think I missed something in the marinade but the general flavor profile was there! I miss my father!
