Bachelor Party Weekend and Grilling 2-ways

My baby brother (23 years old) is getting married in a few weeks. So we decided we needed to get away, and spend some time with just the guys. My brother (the groom), myself, and our two older brothers spent the weekend at the Shenandoah State Park. We canoed 11 miles, fished, built big fires and even had some time to grill our food. No expensive equipment. No high end cuts. No fancy techniques. Just good food with my brothers. These meals tasted better than you can imagine.

Gorgeous view right from our cabin plot. Not a bad sight to wake up to.

Each reserved spot has a grill and fire pit. My bro brought sweet corn and strip steaks for dinner.

Relaxed that night with a fire into the wee hours and Blue Moon variety pack...Pumpkin Ale, Caramel Apple Spice, Rounder Ale, and classic Blue Moon. Not usually a fan, but the cold weather was perfect for these beers.

Next morning we busted out the Coleman stove for breakfast.

True testament that food shared with good friends/family tastes better no matter what it is. Thanks for looking!

This is really what it is all about. My oldest bro set it all up. Cabins, canoes, rods, steaks, dozen eggs and pack of bacon + all necessary tools.

Coolest part was when we set up "camp" and he handed the grill over to me. He knows I've really been trying to learn as much as I can, and his skills were better suited doing something else. Of course, the fear there....mess this up and that's the ONLY option for dinner out here! ha. Great Weekend!
