April 12, Nat'l Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day


 
I had cheese on a grilled Brioche bun topped with pulled pork and pickles. do I get partial credit?

edit: I think I'll give myself a passing grade !

Grilled: to broil on a grill also : to fry or toast on a griddle
Cheese: does it really need to be defined?
Sandwich: A sandwich is a food typically consisting of vegetables, sliced cheese or meat, placed on or between slices of bread.

Types of Bread
  • Sourdough.
  • Baguette.
  • Brioche.
  • Focaccia.
  • Ciabatta.
  • Rye Bread.
  • Multigrain.
  • Pita.
 
Wish I'd known that! We weren't home for dinner tonight, but I watched this last night and would have made it if we were. Grilled cheese? Burger? I don't know. But I do know I want to eat it.

 
What a strange coincidence; we had salad and...grilled cheese sandwiches last night - and I didn't even know!
 
We had last minute company for dinner (DD and S_I_L) and ordered Chinese. Maybe tonight we will have the GCS.
 
I wasn’t aware of tomorrow but I am celebrating Fondue day today, we actually do it quite often. We’ll be dipping some good bread, broccoli florets and Little Smokie sausages. Accompanied by some white wine!
