It's been awhile since I posted anything on this forum, but this was easy with not too many pics.
Started out with 1 gal Apple Juice and a gal of cider mixed with 1 1/2 cups of sugar along with 8 cinnamon sticks on the fire.
After boiling for a bit we let it cool off on a rack outside then added a bottle of Ever-clear and poured into mason jars.
Before all of that, I put some CSR's on the OTG along with some Guajillo's and Ancho's and a head of Garlic. The pork got cubed up, and the chiles were seeded after sitting in a hot water bath then pureed with the garlic and a beer in the blender. Pork was browned in the DO, then de-glazed with a beer and a large can of Rotel tomatoes with chiles. Added the chiles and let it go on the indoor appliance.
Saved the bones from the CSR"S and added some smoked neck bones to a pot of pintos along with a beer more Garlic, Onions and another can of Rotel.
Cumin and Mexican Oregano were also added and let that go also.
The Cornbread was just the box mix along with some jarred Jal's and shredded cheddar.
I snapped one plated pic but it didn't come out. It was a good dinner and the Apple Pie drink was just the ticket sipping on a cold nite around the fire.
