An Unexpected Surprise at a BBQ Competition

I finally got the opportunity to compete in a BBQ Competition after 18 months. What I didn’t expect was the awesome opportunity to teach a 14 year old how to grill the same weekend, which led to him winning first place in the kids category when he turned in an awesome looking grilled bacon cheeseburger. He told me Friday night before dinner he had never grilled before so he grilled dinner and practiced for the next day. Here are some pictures.
