Amazon Black Friday Week

Uniflasy jumped on the drip pan holder/pan/liner wagon... not as cheap, but a few bucks off is a few bucks off... note that these are shiny, not matte like the other ones but state as 'painted steel' in the description.

You know, it makes you wonder how many factories in China are making these things. There has to be at least ten different brands of them that I see. Yes, that one looks shinier than most of the other ones I've seen and it's probably closer to the original factory sheen. Although the original ones were porcelain coated and these are obviously painted.

I have several nice porcelain enamel drip pans. The old heavy ones but these would be worth getting just for the pan holder. Those don't usually stay as nice as the pan itself.

I grabbed a couple
I've bought two Weber branded replacements in the last few years as well as some aftermarket ones. On the Weber ones, the bracket is nicer than the aftermarket version but I don't like the aluminum drip tray so I use an original porcelain coated one for more authenticity. It is getting to the point, except for sales, that the Weber one really isn't that more expensive than the aftermarket version though.

Yeah I agree. I think the last Weber one I bought was in July for $18. I just try to keep my eye out for deals. I have more than a few different places I just try to check regularly and see if they have anything new.

You got yourself one of the old good ones, for a decent price too. Did you put it on a grill? I would save it for a special restoration myself. eBay find?

I'm pretty sure I still have that one in the box. I've been lucky. Almost all of my grills come with excellent condition original grease tray and catch pan. The catch pan holder usually gets the worst wear.

The bracket always rusts out first and you've been lucky that you haven't had any big drip trays that are toast. It's funny, even here I can get one that's nearly perfect and then one that goes right in the trash.

I've had a couple of drip trays that are no good but I don't recall any of my original porcelain enamel catch pans bad just the catch pan holder.

These are showing up again. Same sets I got during prime deal days with 16ga flavor bars.

Thanks just bought these but I was under the impression it includes burner tubes because of the photo but now that I look at the listing more it doesn’t seem like it does.

I have bought super cheap bundles that included both burners and bars for other grills before so I was hoping that’s what this was.

After thinking about it for 3 years, I got a Moccamaster on Black Friday sale. I ran 2 cycles of water tonight and first brew tomorrow morning. (y)
I sure hope you have better luck with it than I did with mine. There is a thread about coffee makers in a different place. Have a great Dead Buzzard Day! :D

Uniflasy has been my go to for the last couple years, but I have used others when prices drop. They are just good 7mm grates that I never have had an issue with and their prices have gone up slightly but not like many of the other 7mm

Not Amazon and not grill related but we’ve all got other hobbies too, right? If you’re a golfer, FairwayJockey.com has got a sweet deal going right now. I’m a tall guy and ordered some full custom irons today (+1.5” length, custom shafts, oversized grips, etc). With this $1000+ purchase, I qualified for a free Nikon range finder ($239 value) and a $250 gift card for a future purchase. The gift card showed up in my email almost immediately so I went right back in and ordered a full custom driver built to my specs as well. That $500+ plus purchase earned me another free range finder but only cost me $261 out of pocket with the gift card applied. Since I already own a better Leupold range finder, I’ll sell both of the Nikon’s locally for the bargain price of $125 each to recoup more of my investment and make the deal even sweeter. By my numbers, I’m going to score over $2k of new sticks in my bag for about $1100 when all is said and done. That’s a good day and a good deal for this duffer.

I also enjoy playing golf, but I don’t get out enough anymore to justify new clubs.
I’ve wanted taller clubs for years knowing all along that it was my skill set and not the clubs that were holding back my game. I’m thrilled to have finally crossed over that threshold but I am going miss the satisfaction of carding an occasional W over a name brand player with my 20+ year old mixed bag of goodies.
