AccuRite Thermometer Saves the Day

Well, none the less I would need 2 systems. One with a dual sending unit for the downstairs fridge/freezer and the other for my stand alone freezer
Or one Wi-Fi hub and as many Wi-Fi sensors as your heart desires, be it temperature monitors, water leak sensors, outlet switches, etc. :D

OK I have never seen anything like that
Here's the hub that will lead you to other sensors (some of which are offered as kits). I don't say this at all to take away from some of the other monitors but water leak sensors and the ability to see alerts while away from home can be valuable.

The Wife loves to decorate for various Holidays, so it's also handy to have wall outlet sensors within various areas inside the house and on the porch where they can be programmed via the App to turn on and off at specified times.

I've been using these since July 2020 and growing as-needed.

I have one of the sending units in my chest freezer in the garage, and the other in the refrigerator section of the kitchen fridge. Since the refrigerator only has one compressor, I'm happy with monitoring just the refrigerator section. Power loss or compressor failure would probably show up as quickly this way as by monitoring both compartments.

I was just thinking the same thing, if one side(compartment) goes wrong, the other one will be compromised as well. No?
I was looking at the one Danhoo has shown, it’s on sale right now too!
I’m trying to decide if I need one.

That's the one I paid $34.99 for.

When we had a power outage due to storms I used this to decide when to fire up my generator.

Being completely battery powered was a bonus.

Larry seeing that the fridge / freezer combo uses the same compressor and other parts I just monitor the freezer on that unit. Really don't care if the beer gets warm...well yes I do, but not as much as what's in the freezer.

Yeah I hadn't thought about that

Not all fridges have a single compressor, though...the POS Samsung we have has 2 compressors, one for each compartment. And even if you have only one compressor, it might be better to monitor both compartments in the event that the fridge is in a remote location and you happen to leave the fridge door open. It sort of depends on how susceptible the fridge contents are to spoilage...beer, I wouldn't worry about, but dairy products can be a problem.
