Jim Lampe posted chuck eye steaks with potatoes yesterday . I was craving them all day. One problem I could not find all the ingredients so I did what I could. This is tonight's dinner with rain.

Cut up some potatoes,jalapeños, onions and seasoned with webers Cajun seasoning. Put them on the cast iron for 30 minutes or so.

I could only find beef chuck steaks. Seasoned with webers Chicago steak seasoning for 2 hours. I added Dales steak seasoning and marinated for 10 minutes. Dales seasoning is very concentrated any more time than that would be salty.

Nice looking steak and potato side. How was the Chuck steak? I see them around too but never bought one to try out.

Yeah I know they are regular chuck steaks. I can't find chuck eyes and I was told Von's has them but they are 15 miles away from me. Damn you stater bro.!!!
 
you find Chuck eyes steaks at Food4Less I just ask or when you see diesmillo on sale you will find some chuck eyes.
 
I say that same post and went out and purchased some rib eyes and cooked them. I would post a pic but they are not worthy of this foum
