a little heat on a cold night

a bit cold last night...

threw together some sriracha burgers...

to keep the bacon from death, I topped the cheese with it...

ok, the burgers were very tasty, boring lookin' but very tasty!
served with oven roasted thick potato chips, onions and the leipäjuusto...

Oh Jim, my mouth is watering! By the looks of those spicy burgers you needed that frosty beer. :) or at least I would have.

the potatoes were sliced thick using my mandolin, then washed in cold water, dried and oiled with evoo then a pinch of kosher on each.
375ºF in the oven on an air rack until crispy.
 
Burgers look great! You made me hungry and thirsty. :)

Surprised it wasn't colder for you up there. We've had highs in the single to barely double digits for almost a week. Great lookin burgers btw! Got to get me one of those ci grates.
 
Jim- that's a tasty lookin' burger, can I have another? And, love the homemade chips ... Gonna have to give those a try!
 
Nice Jim....looks like your Wisconsin weather is right on par with my Alaskan weather...been cold and clear for the last week or so but suppose to warm up today...maybe 30's...I'm sure those burgers will keep ya warm and your beer will stay nice and frosty!!
