Just started working on an old Gold B I guess ya call it. The bars are the standard 22.5. I made a mistake and tossed the burners months a go so I am not sure what size the ole gal takes. Does she take the standard silver B burners or slightly longer?
Thanks in advance for the use of your wisdom.

I hope so.....I have about 1000 of those from the HD clearance.....I will test fit tomorrow. I think the Gold I just sold that was NG had longer tubes but I have been wrong before.

Yep, bars designed to fit a silver B should fit that grill just fine. I just rehabbed and sold one just like that.

Thanks guys.....I appreciate it.
Hey Bruce I dont see the screw holes for the trex or wood that u installed in the bottom shelf......how did u install the wood? It looks nice! I have been using metal with the idea of cutting out the rusty area but leaving the rest of the shelf. I then treat what is left of the rusted shelf with Rustoleum a few heavy coats. I apply new metal on top and screw it to the square tubes. I know I know....it will eventually rust.....so I like your idea...Just remove the shelf completely and go with a trex or wood.

I drilled holes up through the bottom of the 3/4" angle iron. I used 1" wood screws to hold them in place.
