Cherry tomato, pesto chicken pizza on the Genny. We had a lot of basil this year. Summer of pesto.

Came out okay. Dough too bready for my taste. I've made better but not bad.

A steak and a spud. Done on the Performer. Wife and son were out of town. Bachelor night! These days that consists of dinner, bourbon, and falling asleep in the 4th inning of a Red Sox game.


A bit overdone for me, and some minor graying, but very tasty. Pesto steak sandwich leftovers.

Did some decent wings on the Performer.

Brushed with oil and cooked till crispy. Half got traditional Buffalo sauce, half got Thai chili. Stupid simple, so tasty.


Lastly, some gyros. I know I've posted this before but it's so good and so easy to do. On the Genny at about 325°. Recipe is from Serious Eats. It's really just a lamb/beef meatloaf.

Crisped up a bit under the broiler.

Tzatziki sauce, cuke, feta. On a tortilla. I was too lazy to make the usual pitas. Still really good.
