Started off the week with spare ribs:

Used 3-2-1 method and when I unfoiled, the end bones fell out.

They were pretty good!

I also did some burgers. F322C5D7-F773-4A7A-BC1F-4BC1480EABD7.jpeg
The wife finally found London Broil, apparently these parts of WI don’t demand that cut much. Marinaded in Worcestershire Sauce, Soy Sauce, garlic powder and meat tenderizer.

Last night, while smoking the first six pounds of bacon, I did wings and brats using the Vortex. The wings were half buffalo, half Walkerswood Hot Jerk Seasoning. The misses did hers with her family bbq sauce recipe. It’s best on chicken and is really good.5FA31471-D13B-42F7-91E9-919CDBFEC007.jpeg

I had an audience while I was cooking. She hasn’t been posted here before, but this is Addie.2D235319-A6E3-4EA1-97ED-0479D5498F3C.jpeg
Her older sister was tired.

I’ll do another post with the bacon later. It’s still in progress.

what parts are you in?? and, did you use a grill? perhaps it's camera shy.... ;)

Just outside of Mad City. She’s shy on weekdays! Trying to cook great food fast after work makes her nervous. The old kettles I used to have liked taking pics more. At least the WSMs aren’t shy!

Oooh!!! That’s a toughie. One of my favorite foods is wings. But, it had been more than 18 months since I had London Broil. So, I’ll go with the London Broil.
We don't do a lot of beef in our house, so I did a London Broil on the WSM a few weeks ago and it has been on of my favorite things I have cooked. I keep thinking I'll do another soon, I have to make sure I don't let 18 month pass before I do.

Weird coincidence...I'm southeast of Madison and the dog here is also named Addie! And here I was thinking that your handle meant you're Dan C. from Florida.;)

The cooks look great and I really like that pink London Broil!

I am from FL. Moved up here a couple years ago and just never tried to change my name on here. I hadn’t been around here much because I was in an apartment. They frowned on charcoal grills and smokers. Now that I own again, it’s great to fire them back up!
