After the big reunion last week, it's just Pammi and our great niece from Maine here. Still gotta cook, just not as much!
I had a light day on Monday, so I was able to fire up the kettle. Pammi picked up a couple strips at our favorite meat market. Simply SPOG seasoned and cooked with some skillet baby taters and corn on the cob.

Pammi and Mattaia split the one steak, while the other was eaten by the working stiff, me!
We prefer ribeyes, but these were a very nice change of pace.
Tuesday, we had leftover pizza makings, so we had pizzas. Like I documented in the family reunion thread, our pizza stone broke. So I improvised. Pammi's mom gave us an ancient 12" cast iron skillet a few years ago. Too heavy for her! So I put it on the gasser, upside down, and cooked the pies on that! Nice and crusty bottoms and ooey melted cheese! I will be investing in a cast iron pizza pan before long!

Thursday, I got home a little earlier than planned, so got to grill the pork chops! Yay!!! And more corn. So good on the grill!

Finally, we get to today, Grill Fest. I totally forgot it was todaym and Mattaia asked for Pammi's fettucini alfredo. What goes with fettucini alfredo? Grilled shrimps!

And bread!

Thanks for looking!
