Thought i'd put the mini through it's paces...here we go!

Started with some lump





A little jerk all purpose.



Kept a pretty good average of 350...could have gotten hotter but this was perfect.



Dressing for the occasion


snow dogs



...and snow men





I forgot to inject with my creole butter but it came out dripping wet anyways...no brine.

Yea we were about -14 with the - 51 wind chill. Insane for around here...lol Had to see if the mini could do it.

Bill it's all in the name of BBQ science...if the mini can do then a UDS, WSM can as well. I was really curious as to the fuel usage and it was like Summertime usage with the insulation sleeve.
 
That's going to have to be a bad craving for Chicken to go outside in that! Looks good and I'm sure worth it.
 
That's some serious winter cooking there!! Nice looking chicken ...I bet it was all worth it...although probably not beer drinking weather ..hey...heated beer cozies...might have to work on that! Keeps your hands warm and your beer from freezing!

Heated beer cozies...hmmm, yea not bad! My beer was inside but this usually works for outside.

It was a desire for Q but i had to test the limits of the mini ....and what better way then poultry temps in 50 below? lol

A little of all of that but a test of the mini. I'd Q no matter what though, more extreme cold the better. )))
