3rd Annual Pechanga Pro BBQ Championship Jun.21st

Hi Greg,
Would love to met up with the TVWBB crew ! We're usually released from the judging tent (actually a room inside the casino) around 2pm. I'll call Tony's cell when finished.

Bob , looking forward to it,its going to be a great day!

Where do you want us meet up?
I suppose we could pick an obvious spot to meet, like outside a TVWBBer's cooking location or even near Harry's location at 11am or something like that? I plan on arriving as early as they'll let me in, which I think is 10:00am.

I see tickets are $5 online. Do you need to buy tickets in advance, or is it OK to buy when you arrive? Anyone know?

Question for the SoCal guys and gals...

Will be driving down I-5, catching I-210 in Sylmar, then down CA-71, CA-91, and I-15 to Temecula.

Is there anything food-related along that route I should not miss?

If I can't come up with anything better, I will stop at The Hat in Pasadena for a pastrami dip and fries. But I'm open to new ideas. And since I'm driving down and back, there's the opportunity for two memorable food stops!

Any suggestions are appreciated!

I've read about Slater's 50/50, but none very close to the driving route, at least as far as I can tell.
The only Slater's 50/50 location I know of close to Pechanga is in the City of San Marcos which is way south of Temecula and it would not be on your your route coming down the 15.
