3D printing an old part


 
Man you got all the goodies going on over there!! I think there could possibly be a demand for them. Not everybody has the space or wants to buy several parts grills to make one really nice one.
There will be a slight demand when those pieces fail on people's grills and they don't want to buy a parts grill for one little part that you can't get anymore otherwise.
 
They look great to me
I actually think these are better than the original ones. They are whiter than the original ones which I find pleasing to the eye. They are also thicker so they fit more flush in the wheel. Also I was able to remove the 3D printed one from the wheel without damage which was a bonus. I still don't recommend doing that and can't see a real reason to do so. Don't put the whitewalls on until you have the wheel totally clean and/or painted just to be safe. They also fit very snugly so they shouldn't ever come loose or pop off.
