22 Kettle Stainless Steel Grate

For anyone interested I found a stainless steel cooking grate for the 22 Kettle. It's not hinged nor is it cheap.

Dwain, the only thing I don't like about those is that they are made in China. Wonder if rcplanebuyer on ebay makes any?

Checked and rcplanebuyer is not making circular grates and has no plans to.

The Grill Care SS grate is no longer sold at Amazon. If you follow the link in that thread, it brings you to the standard Weber 7436 plated grate.

The wire grate on the one listed on Etsy is 0.25" thick versus 0.15" on the amazon one. But the price is also quiet high on the Etsy one.

I contacted rcplanebuyer to see if he was considering doing a round SS grate. He said he doesn't think there is a big enough demand ?

I have this for my 22's and would love to get it for my 26. It's plated steel and has held up well for almost 2 years. I brush it good after my cooks before the fire dies and when it's cooled, I lightly oil (veggie) it
