I am trying to determine if I will be able to control the temperature with three walls around my smoker, any advice is greatly appreciated. I have a picture but can't seem to load it.

You have to host the photo someplace else like Facebook or Photobucket. Then just paste the URL link with IMG tags.
As long as there is a little airflow around the smoker, it'll run like a champ. Guys have built 6 sided cubes to put them in to shield from the elements.
