This 1991 copyright first generation Weber Performer ad appeared in an unidentified 1992 food magazine and was found on eBay.

I bought a Kettle in 1990. Can't even recall if a Performer was available.

By 1999, the ash blades had rusted out in that Kettle. Another stupid move in my life, I had no idea they could be replaced and I just bought another Kettle. Or maybe I was just looking for an excuse to upgrade to the new ash removal system

I remember wanting one when they came out but my finances at the time wouldn't permit it.
Any idea, or recollection, of what they cost back then? My memory isn't so hot.

I bought a Performer in February, 1993. Paid $225. Just rebuilt it earlier this year and spent about $225 in the process.
