1/4 lbs Bacon Cheese 'Burger' on a stick

Hi all, hope everyone is well.

Got another test run for my food truck here. Its based of a bacon bomb concept. I call it a bacon cheeseburger on a stick.

Made with fresh ground sirloin, 1/2 slice of Kraft cheese and wrapped with 2 pieces of bacon!



Added a little Montreal Steak spice and cheese,



On the stick,



Add bacon!



On the smoker



Added a bit of Sweet Baby Ray's



And served with a bit of corn!



Was a good first try, needs a pickle spear in the middle and to pre cook the bacon just a bit so it gets crispy!
 
Those look awesome! Thanks for sharing. I'm not saying I'm gonna steal that idea of a tailgate this year...but maybe! ;)
 
Thanks everyone! I picked up some thicker bamboo spears today and will be trying them again in the next day or two with a few mods. I'll post some updated pics of the next run.

@ ChuckO - I smoked them @ 225 for about an hour
 
you should have a burner to crisp up the bacon before the sauce. It stil wouldent be crisp but with an texture.

@Wolgast, the idea would be to sear them off on the charbroiler to order on the truck.
 
Thanks Bob. They did not to bad but the thicker skewers I picked up will help a lot I think. Will have pics of them in the update tomorrow.
