Hello from Germany,
most of you like the redheads, me too. But, in Germany they are very rare. I think, they are going to die off.
In the last two years, there are 2 (two!) that i coud recognize on our national CL, which is called "ebay Kleinanzeigen".
The first one was a red-headed Genesis 1000. I rehabbed it and gave it to a friend for his 50. birthday (a story I can tell later). Then I want to have one for my own.
So, I was on the run for a second redhead. It was a Spirit 500 in a really bad condition:

I drove one hour to the guy who initially wanted Euro 150.- . I offered 100.- on the phone and bought it for 80.- ("it is scrap metal"). Flavourizers and grates were ok, and the grill has a red head! As most of you, I had to explain to my wife why I store an old, dirty and broken grill in my small workshop. "Because it has a red head".
Months later I found a black Genesis Silver A, which was in a good condition, but totlally rusted flavorizers and grates. It was 15kms away and costs Euro 50.-
This is what came out after rehabbing:

Eventually, I addded a cast iron grate (sorry, no photo) and I am happy with this small two-burner grill, which has it's place right beside the 2004 Genesis Gold.
Bernd.
