You've gotta start 'em young! Baby Q Ribs Appeteether

Great Idea. My daughter would flip if that had been available 8 yr ago (she's a veg but her kids any anything).

A long time ago I learned from some Samoans was I was stationed with in Germany that they use the core section of pineapples to their teething kids.

I did this with our grands and great grandkids and they loved it after realizing that they were controlling where to place it and "gum" it.

I sliced them into 1/4" strips (sliced lengthwise you can get 8 strips from top to bottom) and froze them. I wrapped one end in a paper towel so they could hold it without freezing their fingers.

The fibers keep it together since their gums can't chew through it. And we all know that teething babies drool like a big dog, so it can get messy. Think bib.

I have a 7 y/o great granddaughter who still asks if I have any in the freezer.

I have a grandson who has just started teething and think the pineapple core method might be worth a try.....
