Since the forum description includes "everything but the oink", which is basically what Scrapple is made of, I've got to ask if anyone's ever tried smoking it? I love the stuff, but I'm clearly in the minority in my household. It's usually best when sliced thin (1/8" or so) and fried to a crisp on the outside, but I wonder if some good smoky flavor could be infused before the frying...
