    no pics, sorry. cooked a turkey breast and 3 split chickens without the pan on the top rack of my 22". tasty, juicy, good flavor, and crispy skin. used MM and caught the temp on the way up and ran most of the cook with bottom vents pretty much closed, there was enough air to hold the smoker...

    i am going to try no pan turkey this weekend (sounds like chinese food), shouldn't be any harder to control temps than on the uds and those guys swear drums are set and forget it cookers. i'll let you know how it turns out.

    i have concidered the no pan cook. if you read the threads on the other sites concerning bulding a uds they reccomend 24" between the charcoal grate and the cooking grate. the 22.5 wsm is there, if cooking on the top grate, so it should be fine.

    didn't take pic's, but i love my new 26. for indirect cooking it has adequate capacity for smoking 3 racks of ribs with a rib rack or a pork butt and you've got the capacity when you need it for grilling alot if you don't need it dont use it. IMHO if price is not an object go large.

    New member here from North Carolina, always had Webers in the past, starting with Smokey Joe in college then to 22 OT which hurricane Fran turned into sputnik an sent into low orbit around the moon. Then I strayed, Char Griller, New Branfels, and dare i say it a gas grill. just dumped all them...
