Used this recipe last weekend, with one subtle change - I used Stone Smoked Porter for the beer component, as I've found that it pairs better with BBQ in general and beef in particular. Results were phenomenal, what a great recipe.

7 hour cook yesterday, not a single drop. Used StokerX on my MacOS machine to monitor it, with occasional checks of the Stoker's built in web interface. Changed temp twice, once via the Stoker WI, once via StokerX.
Now I'm baffled, not a single drop or need to reset the box.
On my most recent cook, I had a LOT of drops. My stoker sits on a metal table and is about 40' from my wireless router. PC's have no issues with signal on this network.
I'm beginning to think that the WiFi radio is VERY weak (or needs some software tuning) in the black box unit.

It does have WPA2-Personal. When you're on the /wifi.html configuration screen, it's the "PSK" selection. I just set mine up for the first time this weekend and that's what worked for me.
A couple of caveats - Once you've set up WiFi, unplug the Ethernet connection before you try to connect...
