    Boston Butt other than smoked.

    I was wondering how else people cook pork butts. I have only smoked them and never thought of making it any different as they are so good smoked. I started seeing recipes with people cooking them as pork roast. How about grinding it.

    Meat Grinder

    Im looking for any recommendations for a meat grinder. I was looking ar a Waring grinder and the Kitchen Aid attachment. I see good and bad reviews an most of the grinders on Amazon.

    Wood Old or New

    Do you use your wood chunks when they get old. Do they want to be be some what green or seasoned like firewood? If they get old and well seasoned with no moisture in them do they burn to fast and add little smoke? My wood is getting a little old and I don't see as much smoke flavor in the meat.

    Kingsford types

    I was at HD and they had 2 20# bags for 17 and change. I was at Costco tonight and they had 2 18# bags for 19 and change. The bags at Costco were competition briquets. I have always used the regular with good results. What is the difference with the competition and what does type everyone use...
