    Cajun Bandit (Weber Grill Mod)

Ouch. I still think it's a decent deal, because you end up with such a flexible apparatus.

    kettle rotisserie

Early reviews say that the CB ring fits the 22.5" kettle better than the Weber ring.

    Cajun Bandit (Weber Grill Mod)

Chris Perres of C&C Grillin posted about this last June. They took away the additional shipping charges and rolled it into the product cost, so the $225 you see now includes shipping. Back when I got mine, there was an additional $30-ish shipping fee.

    Bare bones 22 grill identification?

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">sounds like a Sears Weber. Post a picture if you can. </div></BLOCKQUOTE> Agreed. Does this look familiar?

    smokey joe redesign

Let's play spot the differences... 1. Redesigned top handle with heat shield on both models. 2. The Premium appears to be the same as a US SJG. 3. The non-Premium appears to be a SJG without the tuck-n-carry lid holder? 4. I don't see the equivalent of a SJS.

    1999 Red Performer Needing Care

That side burner looks like a custom. A totally awesome custom. Do you have a picture of the assembled grill with the side burner attached? Does the square tube slip over the performer frame?

    Weber Rotisserie Seal

I'm waiting for C&C to make a version to fit the kettle and Cajun Bandit. They told me to be patient. I just recently got the Weber rotisserie and ring. With a 1/2 to 3/4 inch gap all around, it is pretty hard to keep the temperature under control. Last cook on the performer, I shut all the...

    Weber Rotisserie Seal

I've seen some other threads where people used fire rope to seal the lid, etc. Justin W posted about using it on his rotisserie ring, but it wasn't permanent, just tied on. Pics are here: http://tvwbb.com/eve/forums/a/...=525106325#525106325 Let me know if you come up with a solution. After...

    Rotisserie on the way...

Speaking of C&C engineering a better rotisserie ring... http://tvwbb.com/eve/forums/a/...80069052/m/243100035 Too bad it won't fit on my Cajun Bandit!

Hey folks, it's a great day for the Rib-O-Lator! Yes it is...

Mike, I'm a little confused. It's too cold to go out and check out my Cajun Bandit, so what doesn't fit exactly? Is the top of the CB rolled differently and that prevents the kettle end of the ring from fitting?

    Rotisserie on the way...

That may be worth a try. Is the insulation food safe? I have to say that after seeing the awesome fit of the Cajun Bandit, the rotisserie ring was fairly disappointing. I bet C&C could engineer a replacement ring that had a rolled lip for fit just like the CB and would cut out the need for...

    Rotisserie on the way...

I did a test run last night with some beef round eye rubbed with salt, pepper, minced garlic, and thyme. The rotisserie ring is badly out of round, so I had trouble controlling airflow and never got the temperature under 350. It cooked quicker than I wanted, but still tasty. I'll see if I can...

    Reversible WSM/Weber Kettle Rotisserie ring?

Do you know what date that show was? I'm looking for it on the BBQ central website (no iTunes for me). EDIT: Okay, dummy. Just read the post, it clearly says April 6. I'll check that out.

Gotta post a pic with those covers off so you can brag...

    Cajun Bandit (Weber Grill Mod)

For the folks who use a rotisserie on the CB: Have you found a good cover for the whole assembly? I'm about to get a rotisserie, but my current cover (an old gray "non-deluxe" kettle cover) barely covers the seam where the center section and kettle meet.

    New Performer - Slow Snuff?

Agreed. My performer takes longer to snuff than my OTS (even with the cajun bandit). The only difference is the hole for the gas burner. I just chalk it up as the price of convenience.

    Gas Mod (afterburner) to WSM

Dan- I can't see the photos either. With Picasa, you have to be sure that the album is set to public, and that you're sharing a link to the public gallery. Here's what my picasa links look like: http://picasaweb.google.com/js...#5449776235085868562 (That's me kayaking through the parking lot...

    Kingsford competition brickets.

I'm a fan. They don't contain any coal, and don't have that funny Kingsford smell when you light them.
