Larry, I've taken to husking fresh corn, and directly grilling over medium to medium high heat, until the kernel get some caramelization on them. Our favorite method these days.

I also make biscuits fairly regularly, based on buttermilk baking powder recipes. And use lard & butter...... Blueberry lemon biscuits are pretty darned good. If there's a dirty little secret about making biscuits, it's if you're working at it, you're doing it wrong.
