Happy Friday, everyone! :)
The sun finally decided to pop out from the gray clouds - enjoying some music and cold beer.
Brewery X (Anaheim CA) - Slap and Tickle West Coast IPA
I've been in San Diego for a long time and it was only a couple of years ago that I 'discovered' their brewery/taproom.
Here's the White Labs brew list from yesterday - they rotate the selections - not sure how frequently but every couple of months when we go back the choices are different...
Happy Friday, everyone! :)
Made a Friday outing to White Labs Brewing which specializes and provides yeast strains to brewers such as Ballast Point and others.
Got a sampler flight of four and ordered some of their very tasty slider burgers.

I understand the original question of the thread and my mind wanders to different scenic/iconic places to grill (or bbq) and I keep coming back to not where, but when.
Both my sons are grown and gone and I'd dearly love to re-live some of the best Sundays we've had as a family with some good...
Just got back from Lowes in Poway (San Diego) as I was in the market for a new Weber Spirit S315 to replace my worn out Vermont Castings propane grill.
They have the Spirit S-315 on clearance sale - marked down from $699 to $345!
Assembly and delivery was free.
Get 'em while you can.

I've moved on to my own dry rub concoction, but this is a great fall back, imo.
Yesterday's visit to Pizza Port in Solana Beach after a sunny hike at San Elijo Lagoon
Two beers to go with the pizza we ordered (Swami's and 37th St Solana Beach IPA)
Fun fact about Stone Brewing - their first ever keg was tapped at this location
Came home with a 6 pak of Pizza Port's...
Happy Sunday/Easter, everyone! :)
Blustery, rainy, chilly - thunderstorms on the way (supposedly). Enjoying an inside Sunday with a log on the fire, rewatching Father Brown Season 5, and a nice beer.
Pizza Port Brewing - Swami's IPA
It's a really good recipe - it's from when he was still doing shows for the Food Network - I saved it as a PDF. Not sure if it's still on-line. Alton's website has a slightly different recipe now.
Here's the saved recipe I have:
Ingredients
1/2 pound elbow macaroni
3 tablespoons butter

I run my WSM without water and foil wrap the water pan with several layers of foil.
After each cook before storing:
1. Scrape the grates, let the debris fall into the water pan and the base section
2. Remove the water pan and peel off the top 2 layers of foils that have grease and bits, re-foil...
