    Nice camera Cliff...I love a Nikon...we have an older model...it's a D80...back when it was new it was pretty advanced...now it's just a camera lol...my phone's camera takes pictures with almost twice as many pixels as my D80...pretty pitiful lol

    I use the same as Chuck, but I'm gonna try it with the heat deflector like Harry does when my Stoker gets here...hopefully it'll help get the temps low and keep them low

    Thanks Cliff... figured we'd have some veggies and potato wedges with the chicken....no room on the gasser, so I fired up the Jumbo Joe and put the the veggies in the new Weber basket I got and put the potato wedges right on the SS grate... The chicken was wonderful...the veggies and wedges...

    So, the other day I was wondering how far off my Weber factory WSM thermo was off so I stuck a Tru Tel thermometer in the vent and it showed 30 degrees higher than my Weber thermo....I was like WTH so I've been looking for alternative to the factory thermo in the same spot/shroud...     I'm going to use mine for comps and I have been cooking on mine without seasoning...the first night I had it, I put some chicken in it and then the next day a Boston Butt...have at it...I've cooked in mine half a dozen times now and it holds temps pretty darn steady

    Well, the rain finally hit...It was pouring before I ran out to take the picture...the smoker just laughed at it lol...you can't really see the rain in this picture, but I had to run to the umbrella it was raining that hard... it is under an umbrella and will be under an EZ-UP at comps so good...

    Moinks came off and we're devoured in about 10 minutes...my daughter said "that's the best cooking ever"...so I guess it was pretty good lol...next time I don't think I'm going to put them on in the very beginning...they were kinda heavy on the smoke...I also am not going to put the hog glaze on...
