    Kcomp mixed bag??

Don't tease me like that. I know someone that ate one of the grey M&Ms that was worth a mill. :) Many years ago. I'm going to call Kingsford. Lord knows they got plenty of my money.

    Kcomp mixed bag??

I opened a new bag of Kingsford Comp now Professional Comp... same usually great stuff. Below is what I found inside. Now, I have used a lot of the Kcomp and this is a first to have this problem. This looks to be a mix of kcomp plus some of the "flavored" charcoal. The wood chips smelled like...

22.5 vs 26.75 Kettle fuel usage

Did my first cook yesterday. Smoked a pork loin with apple wood. I didn't notice any difference in fuel usage. It was easy to dial in the temp, but that's probably due to the fact that I'm used to cooking on a kettle. Loving it so far! Only compliant is I want to cook on it everyday. ;)

22.5 vs 26.75 Kettle fuel usage

Wow that's how it should come or in the new WSCG 3 leg cart. Nice work. I picked up a new 26 Today. It's all out together. The new leg design has tabs for the legs and they fit in a lot tighter 's my older 22. Maybe that will be enough. So far the 26 looks impressive!

Thanks, Dustin. I'm glad it doesn't use noticeably more fuel.

22.5 vs 26.75 Kettle fuel usage

I'm looking to replace beloved my 22.5 with a 26.75 Kettle. Will I see a drastic increase in fuel usage? Anyone made this switch, please chime in. Thank You.

    WSM Air Insulated Diffuser Plate

That's nice. Do you still put water in the bowl. Sorry that might be a dumb question.

    New Master Touch

I would say it's not normal, but may fix it self after the first cook. I would try to tighten it down better.

    18 or 22, I'm struggling.

    I love my 18.5, but wish I had a 22.5... Sometimes...

    WSM Air Insulated Diffuser Plate

Do you think Weber will make an air insulated diffuser plate for the WSM to replace the water bowl? If it's good enough for the WSCG then it should be good enough for the WSM. I don't even put water in mine anymore. If I use water I just place a pan on top of the bowl. I don't like cleaning the...

Kingsford Professional Briquets on sale at Costco $4.30 off June 9-July 3

Yes normally $19.99 for two 18lb bags. Cheaper even when not on sale. They don't stock it year round. So I stocked up a week ago at $15.69. I have been really liking pro/comp for about 6 months now. I had to make multiple trips. I got some funny looks loading my cart with so much charcoal.
