I love KBB, but lately been loving Kcomp more and buy it on sale at Costco. Stubbs is fun to use and nice to see Lowes putting it on sale more often. I think they are learning that more people will buy it consistently if they put it on sale every Holiday. It's still a premium price, but worth it...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. The Royal Oak red bag briquettes have less filler and are a "premium" product vs the Backyard briquettes.

I no longer see Stubbs in the 3 Walmart's near me. Seems as though they replaced it with the red bag Royal Oak Ridge twin packs. Lowes still carries Stubbs and I can verify it's on sale in Arlington, TX location.

I picked up 4 bags of Stubbs. Hard to hide them since they don't blend in with the 216lbs of Kcomp. It will be interesting to see if SWMBO notices...

Did you use a water pan and if so did you preheat the water? Cold tap water will burn up the snake quicker. How big as your snake? If a 2x2 doest last long enough you can try a 3x3 or 4x4 if you have room.
