    Broken handle on 26" kettle

Weber is awesome like that. :D One of the many reasons I have so many now. Like Timothy said, you will need to put the old parts on the new parts. If you have any issues call Weber again. Sometimes the ash sweeper can be stubborn.

Took my Smokey Joe camping for the first time

SJ to the rescue! Been there before. There is a place my friends and I have been going to for years and years. They always had those outside grills you usually see at parks. Well they decided to remove all of the grills and we didn't get the memo! Luckily I had my SJ and we were able to eat. I...

RO briquettes in my Stubbs ??

I bought some Stubbs on sale at lowes and on my second bag. I've used stubbs in the past and never saw this. The bag I'm on now I found (so far) 2 briquettes that look like Royal Oak Ridge charcoal. I thought Stubbs was made my Cowboy. The bag was never opened nor tampered with. Are these made...

Anyone use royal oak briquettes in WSM?

Glad you asked because I was wondering the same thing. I've used KBB, Kcomp, and Stubbs. With the sales on the RO red bag briquettes makes me want to try them. I went to WM yesterday and they had sold out at $4 for 24lbs!!

    First Chicken

I love maple on chicken. 300 is too low. I put a drip pan in the water bowl, no water, and put the chicken on the bottom rack. I use the bottom rack so the chicken can sit vertically. Comes out perfect every time. I open all vents and let the WSM run about 350 -375 lid temp.

    tips for smoke n sear

I have heard good things about the Slow N Sear. I haven't used one, but my advice is to preheat (boil) the water in order to preserve as much fuel as possible. If you use cool tap water the fuel will have to heat up the water and will cost you some fuel.

    Karma! New toy!

Looks brand new! I bet they knew someone would pick it up if they put it on the curb. Good thing you drove by when you did. One time I placed an old outside chair by the curb and I kid you not it was gone in less than a minute. I put it on the curb walked back to my back yard, turned around a...
