    No more 22.5 OTG?

The pork roast turned out pretty good, if I say so myself. I think I will definately get used to charcoal, especially if it is as easy as this. Of course I have spent untold hours researching how to cook on charcoal, on this site as well as others. My poor Spirit is going to get upset.

    No more 22.5 OTG?

Well, I had ordered online (Home Depot) for an OTS, but for some reason after 12 days, I was told that it is back ordered. So I drove to the Brockville HD and picked up a 22.5 OTG. I can't see the 22.5 OTG on the Weber website (only the 26.75 OTG), but they are in stock in the stores (will just...

    No more 22.5 OTG?

The question of whether to buy an OTS or an OTG may be moot now, as according to the Weber Canada site there only seems that it's the 26.75 that's an OTG. The 18 and the 22 is now only OTS. Unless I am losing my mind and apparently my sight as well? The...

    Favorite Store Bought Sauce

Up here we don't have quite the selection of sauces that y'all do, but in my freindly neighbourhood Loblaw's, they have "PC Smokin Habenero (sp?) BBQ Sauce". Add a little "Rooster" sauce for an added bite, and good to go.

    Worthless grilling gadgets

I don't know, but I really like the ring thing with the spike. Nothing like whole grilled cabbages. Yum...yum

Why does everybody seem to have 3 or 4 or 5 different grills and smokers?

I am a registered member of multiple web groups (forgot how many), wood heating/cutting among them. Just be glad you don't have an "addiction" to aquiring chainsaws. Besides, for me, what else would I fill up my signature with? On a serious note, I do see a need for a specialized cooker, even...

    WSM ribs-no water pan

I just bought a 22.5 OTS and am going to try to do some ribs on it. The only thing that worries me is I'm fat already and with all these ideas for fantastic sounding food, I'm going to need bigger pants.

    Grilling in High Wind

I was going to BBQ a chicken yesterday but because of the 800 mile an hour winds, I decided to use the oven indoors. Besides, I would have to turn the controls up to compensate for the heat loss, therefore using more fuel. In answer to your question, I'm quite sure that if the wind catches at...

propane tanks and refills or exchanges

Up here the lifespan is 10 years, then off to the recyclers they go. Filling is generally cheaper, but exchanges are pretty well at every corner store. Plus you don't have to worry about the tank getting to end of life.

    Hi From Ontario

Gidday. I'm new here myself, but welcome anyway. I am really interested in getting a "Bullet" myself so keep us informed with lots of pictures. It would be nice if the weather would cooperate, but such as it is living in God's country I suppose.

Hi from the Great White North

It's possible they are getting ground up, but I would imagine the beef producers are just shipping them to other parts of the country where the populous buys them. There are very few supermarket meat departments that have hanging beef, so they only order the parts of the beef that sell. We...

Hi from the Great White North

Brisket is something the average shopper hasn't heard of and would have absolutely no idea as to what to do with the derned thing. They would put it in the oven and cook the beejeepers out of it, then wonder why they can't chew it. Not to mention it is rather expensive (but then again all food...

    Weber Cookbook Recipe Index

Great, now I'll have to buy the darned recipe books to see the recipes. Seriously though good job.

Hi from the Great White North

Thanks lads. I will probably spend quite awhile perusing all the very informative threads. BTW, I am actually south of Ottawa, Mountain actually, but no one on earth has ever heard of Mountain Ontario.;)

Hi from the Great White North

Hello all (this may take awhile):) I bought a new Weber Spirit E310 last June and really like having a fairly decent grill. The first grill I bought was back in the early 80's and it was a smallish Kenmore. I got 13 years out of it before the central post rusted out (I didn't really fuss too...
