    Pork Butt and a Chuck Roast

    Im doing an overnight Q of a 7lb pork butt and a 7.5lb Chuck Roast. Is the temp guidelines the same for the chuck as it is for the pork. ei 1-1.5hrs per pound? What about pull temps for the chuck? I used 195-200 (poking obviously) for pork.

    Grilling Chicken

    I saw recently on here, and cant find again, a way to do chicken (thighs legs etc. From what I remember, it was "X" minutes direct, and then I think 30 minutes in-direct. Does this sound ok or ring a bell for anyone?

    I have a 22" One Touch Silver that I put the ash pan from a Gold on. For what its worth, I wish I had a performer. They do make a table for kettles, but I think the performer would be much better.... for me.

    weber starter cubes

    I used the paper towel once, but mostly used newspaper. I got sick of the mess from the burnt newspaper. Now I use the side burner of my gasser. I works great, and in the 4 years that Ive had it, this is the only thing Ive used it for.

    WSM Thermometer

    With my first cook, I my probe on the grate read higher then the lid did. The was for the whole cook. At a few points they were about the same, but 99% of the time the grate temp was higher. I wasnt too concerned as I use a Maverick digital thermometer.

    do you turn off the gas at the tank when not using your gasser?

    I dont shut mine off. Although I really should. Obviously, if I were to smell gas when I open the lid, I wouldnt start it. I havenet noticed any leaking.
