I only grabbed this for the grates, but it appears to have seen little use, everything besides the cross over seems to be usable so I will try to flip it.
I'm trying to replace the cross over burner tubes on this platinum but it is not obvious to me how to remove the burner tubes to get to the cross over. I see two rusted screws on either side near the manifold (pictured to the left of the left most control valve) Any ideas?
I just went to replace this same switch on a new to me Summit 470, issue I am having is the lights come on once the loaded battery pack is in place...without the switch installed??? When I install the switch nothing changes, lights stay on until I remove the batteries.
Never seen this before:

This is the Summit I rescued and still deciding if I should restored to flip. Looks like I need to repair the cook box, install igniters, burner tubes, and flavorizer bars. Looks to be complete.
This is the information that I was looking for. I was thrown off by the teardrop shape hole in the cook box where the igniter is installed, now that I see the photo I understand how it should be installed, I expected it to exactly like the old Genesis with small and large holes. Thanks for your...

That one was mine, serial number said 1992, hadn't been used, much stored for many years. I replaced the old wood with durawood for a quicker flip and less maintenance. It has a new owner at full price.
I hope the same that someone here will get it. I may go after it for a lower price, much lower, I have one already almost done but not sure how to price it for a flip.

I was able to score each of these items at 3 different HD near me, 1 cent each. The staff should have pulled these items and at some stores they do, others not so much.
Hey Tim,
I was the guy that bought that pellet grill in Philly. I was going to flip it but decided to try it out, I'm keeping it for sure after only half a dozen cooks, didn't know anything about them until I got it.
I got this one today! 2 words, "time capsule" This was not used much, no wear and tear, no grease, came with a tank 3/4 full. Fired it up and went over 500 degrees
