    Looks great. My wife grows a ton of basil in the garden and she makes up a big batch of pesto and we vacuum seal and freeze it into dinner portions so we have it during the winter. Huge difference over store bought.

    Picked up a 2lb tri-tip last night seasoned with salt and pepper. Cooked it on the Genesis along with some foil wrapped red skin potatoes. Came out great. Second cook using the MEATER+ and it worked perfectly.

    I have no idea why anyone uses lighter fluid. Just from a money standpoint a chimney is what $20 and I have had mine for 10+ years. I also get my free local newspaper delivered weekly that I use to light the chimney.

    Go with the Hunsaker. I think it's about $50 and it works great. I had a 36" Blackstone and sold it because the griddle plate works just as well.

    I don't smoke chicken but cook plenty on my kettle. Heat 400+ and you can get skin almost as crispy as frying it. I don't have a Vortex but use the charcoal baskets and cook indirect. Cooked the wings last week and tossed them in hot sauce

    We were planning on seeing it this weekend but got tied up planting the garden, flowers, fishing and smoking ribs. Maybe next weekend. We doing go to the movies very often but this one I want to see on the big screen. Theaters have just gotten to expensive.
