    Plain Burgers.

Daniel, I assume you're using ground beef. Try Brisket, it's awesome for burgers!! Seasoned with Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder. I just got a 10 pounder ground this week, and we've already has Spaghetti, Taco Casserole, and I was going to cook burgers on the grill tonight, but it clouded up...

New to Smoking: Pulled Pork Question

Rich, Good luck with your cook. I'm sure it'll turn out fine with a WSM. After you've done several Butts, consider this from someone who's been q'ing a VERY LONG time. Cook at 275° with an empty, foiled pan, to an internal temp of 195°, wrap in HD foil, then shut down vents on WSM and rest...

    My experience with Kingsford

Guess I'm in the majority..I use KB a lot...because of the price. If they would price Stubbs like KB, I'd use it exclusively! Sooooo much less ash. Rarely use lump, but I think RO lump is good stuff.

    How Much to Make

Figure 10 oz. of UNCOOKED meat per (average) person. For your 'lineman' buddies, I'd double that.

    Liquid smoke in sauce.

I regularly buy such sauces as "Jack Daniels Hickory Smoke Flavor" and others. We like it, and that's all that matters to us. I also have VERY RARELY used Liquid Smoke for any reason, but I would not object to using it for an inside cook, or some non-meat something that I thought it added to.
