Custom table for my trusty Performer

Nice job John! I had been thinking along the same lines for a Ceramic Tile top cart using a Genesis cart frame. I have some nice new leftover tiles, from floor projects I was going to use. But I just got a newer Performer off of Craigs List on Friday, so now I wont need to. I will be posting...

Walmart appears to have the IMUSA 32qy Tamale pot available for order $22

It says Vasconia, but the picture looks just like the Imusa. It doesn't have the black handles or the black knob on the lid. Did you order one Earl? If so, let us know if the lid fits.

    3rd Mini build

Hi Stan Assembling and "borrowing" from all the great ideas on this forum, and patience when it comes to the painting. Yes it is the River Country from Amazon. I like that location right under the grate, it doesn't get in the way of the food.

    3rd Mini build

Hi guys, a few months back, I offered to our long time good friends wife to build a Mini for her husbands Bday. I used a Vasconia pot for the first 2 I've built, but of course couldn't find one this time around. I found a generic 32qt pot at a Hispanic grocery store nearby for $21 and took a...

Article: Restoring Vintage Cast Iron Pans

Thanks Chris, perfect timing! Just added the article to my favorites. I just scored a couple of vintage pans from my Mother in law yesterday. A Griswold #8, and a Wagner #6 that I'm going to clean up, season, and use!

    Cast iron skillet recommendations

Got a nice little collection started by chance now. I just got a new 12" Lodge skillet last month for my B-day. Used it to cook our Thanksgiving dressing in on the Genni and it came out great! My Wife and I, and her Sister and Brother are going in together to replace their Moms 25 yr. old range...

    Buyer Beware

I came across this article today from the Wash Post on the 13th. This was not at Costco, but a big chain back in MD. They tried changing their Grading labels, but it didn't work...
