    just did a side of what rice and green beans. Not homemade, it was walkers wood hot and spicy. flavors were on point, wet rub way to go when doing jerked pork or chicken.

    beat up kettle .worth a restore?

    bowl is and dome are good shape, other then that, there was rust where the legs attached to the bottom of the bowl, but no rust or pitting. not sure about year, will look tomorrow, the color is for the bowl black, and the cover is smokey grey color.

    Hey I have a beat up kettle I came across. Basically its just the bowl and dome. no legs, no bottom vents, just the dome with the handle and the bowl with the grill and charcoal grates. Is it worth a restore? sorry no pics

    I use a stainless steel cleaner for my Summit. I need to know what people soak their grill grates in, need to do a nice soaking/cleaing of my grates.

    No need to soak chunks, I do 2-2-1 with baby back. 3-2-1 more for spares or st louis cut. You can fit both ribs on top rack with the 18.5.

    Minion Method question

    I use the tin can method as well. place can in center, pour unlit coals around, then take some lit coals dump into can, then slide can out using tongs, and done!
