What can you tell me about these?

Wayne, I got a pair of these on ebay a few years ago. As I recall, they were a promotional item from FTD florists. Mine are atop a bookcase containing my bbq books.

The chicken, The grill, The bond.

I agree that oiling a hot grill grate is helpful as I have made Roadside Chicken a number of times on a SJS w/Craycort grates and oiling the grate has prevented any sticking problems. I usually fold some paper towels into a wad, soak with vegetable oil and rub the grates down with tongs.

    Professional Grade...

I discovered this forum when trying to decide what to buy to replace my ECB. I was a confirmed gas griller and was leery of going back to charcoal. Suffice it to say, I now use my charcoal Webers exclusively and there is no going back. Thanks to Chris and everyone who have contributed to the...

    Roadside Chicken

Yesterday, to celebrate the first day of summer, I grilled some Roadside Chicken thighs. This stuff is highly addictive!

    Beef and Bacon Roll-ups

This is an easy to prep change of pace for serving your favorite sirloin steaks. 1 3-3.5lb sirloin steak 1 lb. bacon strips 1 jar of your favorite salsa (don't worry about the heat index. It won't be that hot when grilled) Toothpicks, soaked beforehand to avoid charring Partially...

Disposal of Empty 1lb Propane Tanks

In the interest of saving the planet and a little money at the same time, I don't dispose of them, I refill them from my big propane tank. Click here for the adapter.

Grate for a Weber Spirit E-210 - what's the deal?

I have a Cuisinart gas grill that has a similar setup. There is actually no right way to position the grate. However, I turn it triangle side up for steaks to get the thinner grill marks. For burgers and chicken, I use the flat side; it is easier to flip the meat without tearing it. I don't...

    Weber side table at lowes

I have a OTG and have two of these tables, one for each side. They work very well and give you lots of work space. I store my grill in a shed and the removable tables take up less space. In a more perfect situation, I probably would have bought a Performer but I can't complain about my...

Thanks for the great design, Chris. Just got an email that mine, a red one, is in the mail. Can't wait for some warm temps here in New England.

    Weber portable table

Noel, you might want to read this review on Amazon. Granted, it is only one person's opinion, but he gives a pretty detailed description of the item http://www.amazon.com/Weber-7445-Portable-Charcoal-Table/product-reviews/B00AHUR0OC/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1

Man Wiviott has a tude but.......

I found about Gary before discovering this site. I visited his website upon purchasing my first WSM. I followed his program to the letter just to learn how to make great Q with this smoker. I was pretty pleased with the results. Yes, he is a character to be sure, but I enjoyed the advice and...

    raycort Cast Iron Grates??????

Steve, The CI grates on the Smokey Joe do get really hot so I use less charcoal than before. I tend to bank the coals to one side when grilling chicken but using direct heat, you get some great sear marks on steaks and burgers. I actually purchased a grill/griddle grate from Craycort for the...

I have them for my 22.5" and for my Smokey Joe. They are well worth the investment.

Weber announces new accessories for 2012

I ordered the carrying bag for the SJS through Amazon, using the TVWBB link. It's nicely constructed and eliminates the rolling SJS

    Weber rack

I find it very useful for keeping rubs, moppin sauces and condiments. I hung a couple of Weber tool holders off the front of it and that keeps my tools away from the hot grill bowl.

    Roadside Chicken

Joe, I don't use the Roadside recipe on the WSM. Rather, I use my WSJ and grill them over direct heat. This gives you a crisp, flavorful skin, especially after repeated applications of the recipe. I find that the WSM produces flabby skin necessitating a quick finish on the grill.
