Actually I have heard that some of the flaking will/can fall off on your food while cooking. Wiping the inside with some paper towels would have been fine but I tend to go overboard when I start a project...

The first time I switched mine over, I had to reboot the wifi router and the cyberQ. Try that and then go to the router page to find what address it assigned to the cyberQ. Type that in and you should be good.

By the way, my high heat engine enamel looked kind of splotchy until I did the trial run and it became nice and glossy!

I've heard goo gone is the way to go. I soaked mine in hot water with oxiclean and then scraped it off. I was going To sand and paint it anyway.

I have had one for about two weeks and plan on using it with my 22.5 WSM. I have not been home enough to give it a trial run yet. I have been able to run it in infrastructure mode on my home network and test the probes for accuracy. I think I'm going to love it!

Yes it is possible. It is just another added step. I will probably try it eventually and then remove it when not needed (most of the time).

Mine works fine without the port forwarding. I think that is a big misunderstanding and that port forwarding is only required if you want to access it from outside your home network. Like from work or the grocery store.

Did you ever have any more problems with it? Not smartalec but I agree on infrastructure mode. It was easy and doesnt require all that port forwarding stuff, If you don't want to see it outside your home network. I connected to cyberQ with adhoc and changed the setting to infrastructure and...
