It did get me thinking and googling, and while my grill that is converted is at a summer place , I kind of gave up on it as just too busy. But I did look into it, and think I have another important variable that is relative...
I bought a similar grill. It was a NG grill. I converted to propane.
I still have not converted the side burner, I need the orifice for that.
I dd buy an entire new manifold assembly, but the grill still runs at really high temps.
I am not sure why.
If anybody is looking to convert frm LP to NG , I have a manifold and hose.....I will send free just cover shipping
I am looking for the orifice for the side burner on my converted NG to LP silver C....the side burner is not functioning properly after the conversion, it leaves heavy black...
I went to a heating place, they were not sure what I was talking about.
Can anybody recommend a part number or website I can buy the correct size orifice?
Or can I buy a "blank" and drill it out myself? What size drill bit?

Thanks for the idea. I had not thought of it, maybe I can sell it to somebody on this site, as I do not like the evolution eBay went under . It is no longer a good place to sell things for "regular" people. Maybe I'll put it on CL.
I just picked up a silver c green. It has the open frame. In great shape, stainless grates and bars, everything in excellent condition. I will need new warming racks but i hardly use them so not urgent. I paid $80.

I wonder what would happen if you used Matchlight in a WSM...it states everal times to noy use pre-soaked charcoal like Matchlight, as it may cause an explosion?!
