Some cabinet makers use a silicon spray to lubricate the work surfaces so the wood will slide more easily. Although I'm sure the amount collected on the wood would be minimal and the wood safe to use I would ask the cabinet maker if he uses silicon on his machines.

I've purchased whole packers from walmart and they were graded "choice".

Cook a boston butt low and slow. That will be an easy overnighter and a good break in for your new cooker.

Mix a couple of tablespoons of your rub with the broth. I foil at 150 to 160.

At least take the wrapper off of it before you put it on the grill.

If the brisket has a flat and a point and untrimmed then you have a packer.

How about some tall sizes. I buy shirts that fit in the shoulders but are short of my belt line. If I buy one that is tall enough to hang below the belt line it will be too loose fitting in the shoulders. Maybe Chris could do this with smoke day T-shirts also.
