I do wish we could get the Twitter functionality back. I have tried all kinds of config. changes but it fails spectacularly every time.

You could use an app like Splashtop and just run a remote desktop. http://www.splashtop.com/

I am using 'Splashtop' iPad and iPhone app. The iPhone app was free (as is the Streamer you load on the other machine) it also is available for Android and Palm Pre. iPad version was 80% off at $1.99. Breeze to set up!

I have tried a couple ofo routers too including the tomato firmware and I have had zero success with the twitter feature.
